Überraschend wirksam – aber für den Preis mit deutlichen Schwächen
Die eigentliche Funktion des Unkrautfuchs hat mich positiv überrascht: Das Prinzip funktioniert tatsächlich gut, und das behandelte Unkraut vergeht innerhalb einiger Tage. Dafür gibt es von mir 4 Sterne.
Allerdings stimmt aus meiner Sicht das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Bei einem Preis von rund 400 € hätte ich eine deutlich hochwertigere Verarbeitung und ein durchdachteres Produktdesign erwartet. Beides ist meines Erachtens bestenfalls durchschnittlich.
Einige Beispiele:
1. Verlängerung der Lanze
Die optionale Verlängerung wird laut Hersteller ab einer Körpergröße von 1,85 m empfohlen. Das halte ich für zu hoch angesetzt. Bereits ab etwa 1,75 m Körpergröße empfinde ich die Verlängerung als sinnvoll. Gleichzeitig ist die Lanze in der vorgesehenen seitlichen Ablageposition dann schlicht zu lang und schleift am Boden. Hier wäre eine besser abgestimmte Länge bzw. Konstruktion wünschenswert.
2. Position des Heißwasserschlauchs
Der Heißwasserschlauch ist vorne in Rollrichtung angebracht. Wenn man den Unkrautfuchs zieht, rollt man dadurch zwangsläufig immer wieder über den Schlauch. Das wirkt konstruktiv unnötig unpraktisch. Eine Befestigung auf der Rückseite würde dieses Problem sehr einfach lösen und verhindern, dass der Schlauch unter die Räder gerät.
3. Fehlender Hebegriff am Behälter
Am Gerät selbst fehlt ein vernünftiger Hebegriff am Behälter. Muss man den Unkrautfuchs beispielsweise über eine Treppe transportieren, ist das ein bisschen so, als würde man einen Koffer mit ausgezogenem Teleskopgriff tragen. Das ist umständlich und wenig ergonomisch. Ein stabiler Griff direkt am Behälter wäre hier eine einfache und sinnvolle Lösung.
Fazit:
Die Wirkung des Unkrautfuchs überzeugt mich – das Verfahren funktioniert und ist aus meiner Sicht der große Pluspunkt des Geräts. Bei einem Preis von rund 400 € erwarte ich allerdings mehr: bessere Materialanmutung, hochwertigere Verarbeitung und vor allem ein konsequenter durchdachtes Produktdesign.
Die Funktion verdient 5 Sterne – für Verarbeitung, Konstruktion und Preis-Leistung gibt es von mir deutliche Abzüge. Insgesamt daher 4 Sterne.
